Our Beginnings

Colin Thurston along with his wife Debbie birthed Gx Diesel Power from a desire to offer much-needed customer service and quality workmanship in 2010. They soon realised that Colin could not continue as the only technical person and employed their first technician in October 2011 after many sleepless nights from burning the candle at both ends. When Colin fell ill his wife Debbie had to jump in and do diesel fills at midnight, even though she is more proficient in finance. They as a team did what was needed to ensure that the client never suffered as a result of a “sick” day. Gx Diesel Power has since grown into a reputable company whose services are sought after for their professionalism and dedication to customer service. Gx Diesel Power now operates with a team of staff members that are just as committed in maintaining Gx Diesel Power’s good name.
